For a long time now, I have been recording all of the kid's data (sleep, eating, diapers, etc) in a program called Trixie Tracker. I was able to get in on the beta version, but it has now launched and if you are about to have a baby, have a new baby, or even have an older kid and you want some good info on him or her - I highly recommend it.
As a micropreemie mom, a lot of worry has been assuaged by using this program. I know how much he has eaten - so if he has an off day I can look over the week and see that he is really doing fine. I am able to track all of his meds. So I could see when I forgot to give him his reflux meds or know when I can give the next dose of tylenol. I am able to tell what kinds of foods he likes and what foods cause him problems. When is he sleeping, how long is he sleeping, where is he sleeping - I know all of this. When I was pumping, I could track each session and know exactly how much milk we had. Now you can even inventory it. I can see which diapers leak and, my all time favorite, I know each and every time he has pooped! If you like data...and who doesn't...go on over and sign up. No, really, go. Go on over and sign up.
I am glad I am not the only one who kept track of the boys every feed, sleep, poop etc! My friends made fun of me because I had a 'book' in their bedroom! Information junkies unite! lol

Oh, how I love data. This is very appealing, indeed.

Cool that you've been using the Trixie Tracker as a beta tester. I've been reading about Trixie since before she was a year old, and she (and her parents, of course) live in my area. Once again, the internet makes a big world seem a bit smaller. :-)

This totally would have come in great use when we first brought Maya home and needed to measure everything she did or didn't do NICU-style. We used a notebook instead, a totally ratty thing, but now I don't want to give it up! Maybe I'll scan the pages and make some funny art out of 'em.
