a family bed household. We co-sleep. And it is wonderful. Amazing. It is a decision I will never never never regret. I love falling asleep with my warm drowsy boy and somewhat smelly husband. I even like the snoring. It is kind of like my own person white noise machine. I love to wake up to a smiley imp who is poking my eye and saying, "poke eye. poke eye. mama. mama. up up. go play. go play cars. mama." I love it. There is nothing better. And I know it will only last so long. I plan to enjoy - drink up - soak in - and love every single second of it.
rock on!

Sleeping with Maya in the bed is like THE NIGHT OF A THOUSAND KNEES AND ELBOWS AND FISTS AND FEET and, though we try, it's usually best Maya sleeps in her crib. I love that co-sleeping works for your family though! It's so sweet!

We are a mostly co-sleeping family. My husband doesn't sleep as well with the little guy in the bed so we are trying to get him to sleep in his own bed with moderate success. He sleeps part of every night in his bed and then wakes up either wanting to be in our bed or to play in the living room before finishing the night sleeping on the couch with mommy. Naps however are strictly for the lowercase to cuddle with his mommy on the couch -- not a single nap has taken place in his bed and I'm keeping it that way as long as he'll let me. Because there is nothing better than being cuddled up with that boy!

Whenever my niece stays at my house, she sleeps with me. She is 18 months old now, and I just love having her right there. If I ever have any of my own, I plan to cosleep too.

There are times when I wish S would sleep in our bed. Instead, it's a place to play hide and seek, to fling oneself down on the pillows and declare "I seeping!" only to pop up two seconds later and declare "I awake! Mama awake! Daddy awake!" And then the inevitable "All done. I hummy. Mama hummy. Sih-woh, mama."

Aww that is so cute. Dorothy sleeps so well in her crib in her own room. She never did well sleeping with us. I wish she would have.

yes, yes, yes.
We are, too. What could be better than snuggling with a little warm bug on a cold night?
